Team India’s victory parade in Mumbai ended on a high note. As expected, Indian Cricket Fans (ICT) turned up in huge numbers to celebrate the World Cup title with their heroes. The BCCI conducted the parade to celebrate India’s win in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

On July 4, Team India landed in Delhi from Barbados. From Delhi, the team moved to Mumbai for the victory parade in an open bus. The parade began from the Marine Drive in Mumbai and concluded with a ceremony at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma led India and landed in Mumbai on Thursday. When Team India arrived at the airport in Mumbai, Team India was welcomed with a water salute. The team left for the parade beginning at Marine Drive. All the fans were waiting for the arrival of Team India.

A massive sea of Fans from Mumbai and across India took to the street and covered every inch of the Marine Drive. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) organized the victory parade. The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the BCCI shared a video showing the enthusiastic fans and people gathered in huge numbers at the Marine Drive.

Ceremony At The Wankhede Stadium

After a grand victory parade, the players entered the Wankhede Stadium jubilant. Team India stood for the national anthem as champions of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The stadium had an awesome environment as it was packed with enthusiastic fans.

The moment peaked when all the fans and players together sang the “Maa Tujhe Salaam” song in the Wankhede Stadium. It was so good to see happiness on the faces of fans and players after back-to-back World Cup losses. It was truly a night that fans and players won’t forget.

Players of the 2024 T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team received a check of 125 crores from BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah. The team again lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup title in the facilitation ceremony, but on Indian soil and Indian fans.

During their felicitation ceremony Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and other Indian cricket players were seen dancing in the Wankhede Stadium. The whole team took a victory lap with the trophy in front of the Wankhede Crowd.

In the ceremony, Rohit and Virat spoke to the crowd and thanked the fans for their unwavering support. It was truly a memorable night for the players and the fans.
