Cricket fever reached new heights as Team India returned home to a champion’s welcome. The Indian cricket team landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi from Bangalore. India received a champion welcome after winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The Indian players, support staff, and officials arrived on the special Air India flight. A special Air India flight for special players winning the T20 World Cup. The fans and Indian Cricket Team (ICT) supporters cheered and waved flags as Team India reached home.
Mumbai To Host The Grand Celebration
From Delhi, Team India will leave for Mumbai for the victory parade. The victory parade is an awesome chance for fans to see the trophy and the Indian cricket team players. The grand celebration will be held at 5 p.m. at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The celebrations are important as India won a World Cup title after 13 years.
Entry to the Wankhede Stadium will be free today for fans to celebrate with the Indian team. The open-bus victory parade in Mumbai will begin at Marine Drive at 5 p.m. In the parade, players will be on an open bus with the trophy to celebrate the T20 World Cup win.

As the team landed in India, the hashtag #IndianCricketTeam started trending on social media platforms. Many users shared posts congratulating Team India as the team returned home. Along with fans, players too had the same high spirits.
Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma danced upon arrival in Delhi. The captain has every reason to celebrate and dance on this special, historic occasion. The captain came back with the T20 World Cup trophy. This was India’s second T20 World Cup trophy after 17 long years. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Suryakumar Yadav were also seen dancing.
