Prashant Kishor, the president of Jan Suraj Party, has embarked on his worldwide endeavor. He is lauding his party all the way from Bihar to America. His morale has received a slight boost following the outcome of the Bihar by-elections. The fact remains that the party was unsuccessful in all areas. However, he insists that he will emerge victorious in the 2025 assembly elections. During a virtual meeting with the Bihari community in the US, Prashant Kishor stated that Bihar is a failed state, facing a severe crisis, and requiring significant efforts for its overall progress. The Jan Suraj leader expressed optimism about his party’s chances of winning the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.
Prashant Kishor stated that should his party emerge victoriously, he would remove the prohibition on alcohol and utilize the profits to enhance the quality of school education. He mentioned that it is important for us to realize that Bihar is a state facing many problems.
If it was a nation, it would rank as the 11th most populous country globally. We have surpassed Japan in terms of population. Prashant Kishor mentioned that the main obstacle is the society’s loss of hope for Bihar’s improvement, leading to a focus on immediate survival with disregard for other matters. Nonetheless, there is still hope in Bihar. The activities we have engaged in over the past two and a half years have certainly inspired optimism.
Additionally, Prashant Kishor urged Indian expatriates residing in the United States to back Jan Suraj and cast their votes in its favor. During the recent Bihar assembly by-elections, Jan Suraj Party candidates failed to recover their deposits in all seats except one.
Prashant Kishor’s party achieved third place in Tarari, fourth place in Ramgarh, third place in Imamganj, and third place in Belaganj. NDA emerged victorious in all four of these seats. BJP emerged victorious in the constituencies of Tarari and Ramgarh, Hindustan Awam Morcha (Secular) in Imamganj, and the JDU candidate in Belaganj.
