Champai Soren, the ex-Chief Minister, thanked the local residents for helping him secure victory in the Saraikela assembly constituency for the seventh consecutive time. Champai stated that the citizens of the state have authorized the BJP to assume the role of the opposition. We have admiration for the inhabitants and extend our congratulations to the residents of the state.
Champai Soren won against JMM candidate Ganesh Mahali by 20447 votes in the Seraikela assembly constituency. Champai received 119379 votes in total, while Ganesh Mahali earned 98932 votes for second place. Prem Mardi from the party Jharkhand Loktantrik Kranti Morcha received 40056 votes. He finished in third place in the Seraikela seat. In addition to securing victory in the Seraikela seat, Champai has also surpassed Nalin Soren’s record. He is now the MLA who has been victorious in the election for the 7th time in a row. Champai has been consistently victorious in elections since 1995.
Champai Soren, a previous Chief Minister, expressed disappointment that his sons, Babulal Soren and Sonaram Bodra, did not succeed in the elections. While this was happening, Champai declared that he is currently by himself, but he plans to have a hundred people with him tomorrow. Champai Soren spoke to the media at his home on Sunday, where he made these statements. Champai Soren acknowledged that BJP experienced losses because of Jairam’s JLKM party. He claimed that the reason 22 BJP candidates in the state were defeated was due to JLKM. While doing so, he characterized the problem with Bangladeshi infiltrators as a societal issue rather than a political one.
Champai mentioned that Bangladeshi infiltrators are not only looting the land and identity of tribals and natives in Santhal Pargana but also in the entire state. Population growth is on the rise in every location. The state’s residents might not have grasp it in this election, but I will persist in fighting for the next five years to safeguard the land and culture of the tribal people from Bangladeshi invaders. Following January, we will start a campaign against Bangladeshi trespassers in the Santhal area. We will continue our efforts until we eliminate Bangladeshi infiltrators individually.
