On Thursday, a loud explosion occurred at a famous sweet shop near a PVR multiplex in Prashant Vihar, north Delhi, according to police, who also discovered a white powder-like substance. There were no injuries or casualties reported.

The explosion occurred near the park’s boundary wall, which adjoins Bansi Wala, a sweet shop. Police and firefighters rushed to the scene after learning of the event. Police were examining the cause of the explosion. Visuals from the scene showed white smoke coming from the park beside the shop.

According to the fire department, a call about the explosion was received at 11:48 a.m. Four fire trucks were present at the scene. Police said they were validating a call about the blast at the scene.
