An Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Tuesday killed a Hezbollah commander who oversaw the missile division, according to two security officials in Lebanon, as concerns of a full-fledged Middle East war grew.

According to accounts, the commander who was slain was Ibrahim Qubaisi. The attack, which killed six individuals, inflicted another blow to the Iran-backed organization, which has endured a series of losses at the hands of Israel in the last week.
