Vodafone Idea (Vi) has joined Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio in announcing increases to its tariffs for both prepaid and postpaid services. The company has stated that these new rates will be effective starting July 4, although the perks included with the plans will not change.
The most affordable plan offered by Vodafone Idea, previously priced at Rs 179, provides 28 days of validity along with 2GB of total mobile data, which will be adjusted to Rs 199.
Additionally, the well-liked Rs 479 plan, which offers 56 days of validity and daily data usage of 1.5GB, will be updated to Rs 579 commencing July 4. Facing substantial debt, the telecom provider has also decided to raise the cost of its yearly package by Rs 500.
