Lenovo Juno Go, the more expensive option for PC gaming mobile devices like Steam Decks and Asus Ally, could soon be offered in a cheaper form. In recent months, rumors circulated that Lenovo was working on the Legion Go Lite, but it now appears that the firm is naming it the Legion Go S.

The rumor comes from Windows Central, who obtained realistic-looking renders of the device. The next PC gaming handheld will be powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2G platform, a toned-down version of the chipmaker’s more powerful Z1 processors.

As it turns out, Lenovo’s next device may lose more than just performance, with the outlet stating that the Legion Go S will be missing many of the “bells  As shown in the image above, the Legion Go S will be available in white. According to the newspaper, the AMD Z2G CPU that drives the handheld has Zen3+ cores, which provide less performance than Z1-powered portable PCs like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally, which have Zen4 cores.

It goes on to suggest that the Legion Go S’s less powerful APU will make it significantly less expensive than the Legion Go (review), which was introduced for $700. While the device’s features remain unknown, it appears that Lenovo may opt for a smaller display to maintain the price between $399 and $449.

However, the Legion Go S, like its more expensive predecessor, features two USB-C ports, but Lenovo has positioned both of them at the top. The render also hints that the Xbox menu and view keys will be moved to the device’s top.
