It’s free, and you don’t have to download anything or request activation. This is a default feature for all Airtel customers.

Airtel’s AI technology works by studying every call and SMS in real-time to determine whether they are spam. It considers factors such as call frequency, duration, and sender or caller behavior. Every call and message goes through two levels of protection. First, at the network level,

The system is really quick. It can examine 1.5 billion texts and 2.5 billion calls every day, so it’s always trying to keep spam at bay. It employs artificial intelligence to cross-check patterns and flag anything that appears to be spam.

Airtel’s AI technology processes around 1 trillion records every day. This is how it detects and stops over 100 million spam calls and 3 million spam emails each day.

When the system believes a message or call is spam, it marks it as “Suspected SPAM” and notifies you, allowing you to be informed before replying or clicking on anything.

If a spam message contains a questionable link, the system will scan it in real-time and notify you not to click on it.  The system may even detect unusual behavior, such as repeated changes in device IMEI numbers, which is a classic fraud.
