Blinkit has launched a new tool aimed at making returns and exchanges easier for clients, particularly those dealing with size or fit difficulties in apparel and footwear. This new tool allows consumers to submit a return or exchange request, which will be completed within 10 minutes.
Following a successful test run in Delhi-NCR, Blinkit has expanded its service to major cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune. More cities are scheduled to be added shortly.
Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, posted the news on social media, emphasizing what this new function provides: “The wonderful aspect is that you can return or exchange your item within 10 minutes of submitting a request! We tested it in Delhi NCR and have now enabled it for Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune.” This function is intended to relieve “size anxiety,” a prevalent concern among internet shoppers for garments and shoes.
The new GST invoicing feature
Blinkit just released another new feature that allows businesses to enter their GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) while purchasing products. This modification, in response to increased customer demand, particularly for high-value goods such as electronics, allows firms to claim GST input credits of up to 28%.
How it works.
Adding GSTIN: During the checkout process, users will see the option “Add GSTIN” in the Blinkit app. Invoice Generation: Once the GSTIN is entered, a GST-compliant invoice is generated for the transaction. Claiming Input Credit: The invoice includes the applicable GST input credit, which might be as high as 28% depending on the product type. This function is especially valuable for firms wanting to cut costs, as they can claim the credit back when purchasing things at the highest GST rate.
According to Blinkit’s CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, the feature is designed to benefit firms that make large or high-value transactions, allowing them to better control expenditures.
