Michael Schumacher is a Formula One driver who has transcended the sport. In 2013, the seven-time Formula One world champion had a potentially fatal skiing accident in the French Alps. Since then, nothing is known regarding his health status. According to rumors, the 54-year-old has been living discreetly in Switzerland, and information regarding his health has been kept private. However, new claims in European media say that the F1 legend was seen in public for the first time since the accident, attending his daughter Gina’s wedding to her partner Iain Bethke at the family’s luxurious house in Mallorca, Spain.

According to Metro.co.uk, “the wedding is believed to be the first time Michael has been allowed in public since his accident” The report was titled “Michael Schumacher’seen in public for the first time in 11 years'” The German magazine BILD also stated that it was “quite possible.” Schumacher was very likely to attend the ceremony, but not in the garden, where only ‘close guests’ were present. According to multiple reports, the guests were asked to turn in their phones so that photos from the event would not be leaked.

Schumacher’s lawyer, Felix Damm, has disclosed that the former Formula One driver’s family has opted not to release his last health report owing to privacy concerns. “It was always about defending private property. “We considered whether a final report on Michael’s health would be the best way to do this,” Damm told German media site LTO, as reported by SI.com.

Damm further indicated that if Schumacher’s family had revealed the final health assessment, the media would have put pressure on them to provide timely updates. “But that wouldn’t have been the end of it, and there would have had to be continually updated ‘water level reports’ and it wouldn’t have been up to the family when the media interest in the narrative
