On social media, her self-assured stroll became viral. On the internet, she got a lot of love, but she also got abused. There were ‘quite some haters’ who made critical comments about the ramp walk, according to the champion shooter, who took home two bronze medals from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Soon after his achievements at the Paris Games, Manu Bhaker will return to training.
“Whoa, I appreciate your kind words. I also notice a lot of detractors. All I wanted to say was, don’t limit yourself; live a great life, let your work shine, and make your parents proud. Lovers will adore you, and haters will detest you.
Keep your spirits up and go your own route, whichever you want. Good things give you the strength to achieve tough things, so why take the easy route? In the Instagram comment area of her own post, she added, “Cheers.” A glimpse of her ramp walk was shown in the post.
According to Manu Bhaker, she plans to return to competitive shooting the following year after starting training again in November. Bhaker, who took home two medals from the just finished Olympics in Paris, was speaking to reporters in Delhi in advance of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Final, which is set to begin in the nation’s capital on Tuesday. Bhaker told reporters, “I’ll be returning for the training in November.”
Bhaker claimed that she and her coach, Jaspal Rana, had already decided on her post-Olympic hiatus from shooting. “I do want to compete. However, my coach had advised me to take three months off before the Olympics since I was suffering from injuries from pistol recoil,” she continued.
Bhaker also mentioned how happy she was to be able to see her family. I love eating home-cooked meals,” she continued. Speaking about competing in the World Cup final, Bhaker stated that since only the “champions of champions” participate, it is a great stage for young people. “Playing here is a significant event.”
