After dismissing Jasprit Bumrah on Day 2 morning in Chennai, the 24-year-old achieved the milestone. For 374 runs, India has been bowled out. But in the morning, it was veteran pro-Taskin Ahmed (3/55) who managed to get the new ball talking. Initially, he removed Ravindra Jadeja (86) from the game to break the 199-run partnership for the seventh wicket.

Shakib dropped Akash Deep’s bat when he swung it, but Taskin removed him after skipper Najmul Shanto made a brilliant catch at mid-off. After that, Taskin claimed the coveted wicket of R Ashwin, who was applauded by his home fans with a standing ovation.
