Despite being labeled a ‘biological male’, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif won the gold medal for his nation in the just-ended Paris Olympics. When she won a boxing match, she saw that many were questioning her gender. However, this did not deter Imane from being entirely focused on the in-ring action. However, as soon as the Olympic Games ended, Imane Khelif launched a complaint for internet abuse, which included Tesla CEO Elon Musk and well-known British novelist JK Rowling.

While the dispute concerning her gender continues to gather traction, a new video of Imane wearing an Algerian caftan has gone viral. Imane wore makeup in the video.

On Wednesday, Khelif filed a case with a special section at the Paris prosecutor’s office to counteract online hate she encountered during the Olympics. Her lawyer, Nabil Boudi, called the campaign against the boxer “misogynistic, racist, and sexist.”

According to Boudi, the case includes JK Rowling and Elon Musk, among others. Trump tweeted, “So whether or not he is named in our lawsuit, he will undoubtedly be investigated as part of the prosecution.”

While some names have been included in the lawsuit, additional identities may be added if the matter proceeds to court. “What we’re asking is that the prosecution examine not only these persons but anyone else it deems appropriate. If the matter proceeds to court,

Both Musk and Rowling referred to Khelif as a “male,” with the British novelist claiming Khelif was “enjoying the distress of a woman” following the Algerian boxer’s victory against Italy’s Angela Carini. For the record, Carini was spotted weeping after losing to Khelif in the Round of 16 at the Paris Olympics earlier this month. Khelif only broke her silence after winning gold at the Paris Games.

“It’s a dream for all athletes. Do I qualify or not? If I am a lady or not? I made several remarks in the media. I’m competent, I’m a woman, and I was born a woman.

“These individuals [who claim I am not] are the enemies of success, as I call them; their attacks give my success a distinct taste. “… I hope people will commit to the Olympic Charter and its principles. We’re here to entertain our viewers and family. I hope we don’t witness similar assaults during these Olympics.”
