On this significant day, it has been announced that two MLAs from the district, Vipul Goyal and Rajesh Nagar, will be appointed as ministers in Naib Singh Saini’s government. On Thursday in Chandigarh, Naib Singh Saini will be sworn in as the state’s Chief Minister for the second time with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance.
Following him, the group of ministers being sworn in will also feature Vipul Goyal, who won his second term as MLA from Faridabad assembly constituency, and Rajesh Nagar, who secured his second consecutive term as MLA from Tigaon.
Vipul Goyal was elected as MLA for the first time from the Faridabad assembly constituency in 2014. After Manohar Lal was appointed as the Chief Minister, he increased the size of the cabinet and appointed Vipul Goyal as a minister. Next, Vipul Goyal assumed the role of Industry Minister. Vipul Goyal missed out on the ticket in 2019, but he remained patient and was appointed as the vice-president of the state BJP within the organization.
In the upcoming 2024 assembly elections, he once again received a ticket and won as an MLA for the second time, defeating Congress candidate Lakhan Singla by over 48 thousand votes. He will now be sworn in as a minister.
During his tenure in Manohar Government Part-One, Vipul Goyal, serving as the Industry Minister, successfully elevated Haryana from 14th to 3rd place in the Ease of Doing Business rankings, a significant accomplishment for the state government. Vipul Goyal set a record by planting 235,000 saplings in Faridabad in just two hours in order to keep the environment clean.
Rajesh Nagar, who won as MLA for the second consecutive term by leading BJP to victory in Tigaon, will be rewarded with a ministerial position. Rajesh Nagar verified that he was contacted about his preparedness to be sworn in as a minister.
Rajesh Nagar ran for elections for the first time in 2014 but was defeated by Lalit Nagar of Congress. The party showed faith in Rajesh Nagar again in 2019, granting him a ticket once more. This time, he won as an MLA by defeating Lalit Nagar from the Congress.
In the 2024 assembly elections, the party also nominated Rajesh Nagar, a person facing challenges. Lalit Nagar once again emerged victorious, securing a lead of over 37 thousand votes, causing the lotus to bloom for the second time in a row. Rajesh Nagar, known for his gentle demeanor, maintains strong ties with the high officials.
