Mohan Bhagwat Speaks To Rss Members.
Mohan Bhagwat speaks to RSS members.

Mohan Bhagwat, the head of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), expressed on Saturday his intolerance towards those who are anti-India and emphasized the importance of showing respect towards all religions. Additionally, Mohan Bhagwat mentioned that diversity should be embraced as a strength, not a source of discord. In a speech during an event in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Vijaya Dashami, Bhagwat emphasized that dharma is essential for India and serves as our motivation.

Mohan Bhagwat mentioned that our society’s vast diversity is sometimes exploited to create division unnecessarily, leading to agitation and loss of faith in government, law, and administration. Dharma is the essence of India, not just a religion. What are we? We identify as ‘Hindu’ because this religion is for everyone. It is owned by all. We have only identified it without discovering or passing it on to anyone. Therefore, we refer to it as Hindu dharma, a religion centered on humanity, he further stated.

Continuing, Mohan Bhagwat added, “At times, situations can be tough while at other times they can be favorable. In today’s advanced and happy human society, material well-being has increased, yet many challenges persist in human life. The conflict began between Israel and Hamas, with concerns about its extent and repercussions on others. Mohan Bhagwat also addressed the incident of a trainee doctor being raped and murdered at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

The events at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata were disgraceful. However, this is not an isolated event. Bhagwat emphasized the importance of staying alert to prevent such incidents from occurring. “However, he noted that the prolonged delay in addressing the incident and the apparent protection of criminals is a direct outcome of the collusion between crime and politics.”

Regarding the crisis in Bangladesh, the RSS leader stated that individuals in Bangladesh feel threatened by India, leading them to align themselves with Pakistan. We are aware of the countries behind these discussions and narratives without needing to mention them, and they aim to establish similar conditions in India. Discussions are centered around terms like deep state, wokeism, and cultural-marxism. Some individuals claim these items aren’t here, yet they have been present for quite some time.

The turmoil in Bangladesh has resurfaced the practice of carrying out atrocities against Hindus in the region. Hindus came together and took to the streets for the first time to protect themselves. However, as long as this extreme behavior of committing violent acts due to anger persists, not just Hindus but all minority groups will be at risk. To be lacking in strength is considered a criminal offense. By being weak, we are encouraging acts of cruelty towards ourselves. “Regardless of our location, we must remain united and strengthened,” he stated.

After Mohan Bhagwat’s address, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, stated on Saturday that India could have provided assistance to Bangladesh through our foreign policy. Yadav questioned where those people were who are now making statements, when India had the opportunity to save Bangladesh through foreign policy but did not take action, referring to Mohan Bhagwat.

Before giving his speech, Mohan Bhagwat conducted a ‘6 Shastra Puja’ at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur during Vijaya Dashami. K Radhakrishnan, the former head of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and recipient of the Padma Bhushan award, was spotted accompanying the chief guest of the event, who was the head of the RSS.

Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, and former ISRO chief K Sivan were in attendance at the event. Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and former ISRO chief K Sivan were also present when RSS members were seen reciting the ‘Sangh Prarthana’. The members of RSS were observed saying the ‘Sangh Prarthana’ while coming together to commemorate Vijaya Dashami.
