He used to give funds to ULFA (United Liberation Front of Assam).

Pappu Yadav accused Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, of sending money to ULFA. The MP from Purnia stated that there will be a coalition government formed in Jharkhand.
