Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a large rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. While doing so, PM Modi fiercely attacked the Congress and the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). On November 20, voting for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra will take place in a single phase. Vote counting is scheduled to happen on November 23.
Speaking at a election rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Prime Minister Modi stated, “The Maharashtra election is more than just choosing a new government. This election sees one group supporting Sambhaji Maharaj, while the other group shows admiration for Aurangzeb. All of Maharashtra is aware that Balasaheb Thackeray was the one who proposed renaming the city as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The Aghadi administration ruled for 2.5 years, but individuals were hesitant to act because of Congress’s influence. Once the Mahayuti government took over, they promptly renamed this city as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. We granted your desire, we fulfilled the wish of Balasaheb Thackeray.
He also stated, “Who suffered the most from renaming Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar?” This Congress party, the Aghadi individuals… whose followers even took the matter to court in order to reverse this ruling.” The meeting was attended by Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, along with Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and other senior leaders of the Mahayuti.
PM Modi expressed that Maharashtra must take the lead in envisioning a developed India. BJP and Mahayuti are collaborating on this resolution. This is the reason why modern infrastructure is currently being developed in Maharashtra. The only thing the people of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) have achieved is exacerbating the issues in Maharashtra. The water crisis in Marathwada has been ongoing for a considerable time, with no action taken by either Congress or Aghadi individuals. Concrete measures against drought were initiated for the first time in our government. His statement was as follows,
The Prime Minister stated that the Congress party depends on creating divisions instead of focusing on development to come to power. The Congress hinders the advancement of Dalits, backward classes, and tribals to maintain power over multiple generations. This is why Congress has opposed reservation since the beginning. The Congress mindset and priorities remain unchanged. This is the reason they have been unable to accept a Prime Minister from the OBC community in the past decade.
PM Modi criticized Rahul Gandhi, stating, “The Congress prince travels abroad and openly declares his intention to eliminate reservation.” Currently, Congress and Aghadi are planning to divide the SC/ST/OBC community into smaller castes to advance their agenda.
He stated that if OBC is divided into castes, Congress believes its power will decrease, making them inactive and benefiting you. This is where Congress seeks a resurgence in power. If Congress gains power, they will end reservations for SC/ST/OBC. As a result, individuals belonging to SC / ST / OBC groups will receive these benefits, but we must continue to be targets of plots. We must be conscious of the need to stay together and support each other in order to build up our collective power. That is the reason we recall We must remember- if we come together, we will be secure.
Polling for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra will occur in one phase on November 20, with votes being counted on November 23. A fierce battle is taking place in the state between the Mahayuti coalition of BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar) and the MVA alliance of Congress, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar’s NCP (SP).
