The Maharashtra assembly elections campaign is currently in its last stage. During a rally in Sangli on Sunday, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge strongly criticized the BJP. He likened the RSS and BJP to poison, stating that venomous snakes must be exterminated. Additionally, he criticized the Yogi administration for the tragic incident where 10 children lost their lives in a medical college fire in Jhansi, UP.
Kharge stated that the most politically dangerous party in the country is BJP and RSS. They are both toxic like poison. If someone is bitten by a snake, they will perish. If this happens, the deadly snake must be put to death. He mentioned that the purpose of this election is to select representatives for Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha, not to elect the Prime Minister of the nation. Their thirst for power has not been quenched.
The Congress leader accused a rebel and independent MP from Sangli of betraying the party and backing his relative without explicitly naming him. A family member of Patil is running in the upcoming November 20 assembly elections as an independent candidate.
He mentioned that there are significantly more leaders campaigning in Maharashtra compared to the number of candidates participating in the election.
He mentioned that he is unsure about what has occurred to BJP’s outspoken leader and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. 10 children perished in a hospital fire in Jhansi, yet the Chief Minister’s public gatherings in Maharashtra continue uninterrupted.
Mallikarjun Kharge criticized PM Modi, pointing out that he was in the country yesterday but is now overseas. Manipur is in flames, with casualties and disrespect towards tribal women, yet the Prime Minister has never visited the region. I want to tell him to prioritize taking care of his home and making his country strong. Following that, you have the freedom to travel to any destination of your choice.
Mallikarjun Kharge also questioned the outcomes of the meetings with PM Modi and Donald Trump, as well as the Presidents of Russia and China.
The leader of Congress mentioned that despite his age, he will continue to back the Congress ideology and engage with people.
