Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a significant meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, district ministers, and BJP officials to discuss the upcoming by-elections for 9 assembly seats in the state. Extensive conversations took place about the by-elections, and plans were made. During the meeting, the Chief Minister assigned duties to ministers and officials in order to secure victory in the by-elections for all 9 seats.
The focus during the meeting was on enhancing mutual coordination between ministers and officials. It was also agreed that every party leader must do everything possible to fulfill their duties in their designated area during the by-election. The Chief Minister stated that achieving success in the by-election is not just about winning votes but also about gaining the trust of the public, so efforts should be made with complete allegiance and commitment to secure victory in all constituencies.
CM Yogi Adityanath directed party leaders and workers to effectively manage elections up to the booth level. He stated that each seat holds significance in the by-election, hence precise management and supervision at the polling station level is crucial. The Chief Minister advised the leaders to stay engaged in their designated regions and organize meetings with the people at the local level. During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of addressing and solving the public’s issues through village gatherings to build trust in the party.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed that the ministers and officials should dedicate extra time in the districts holding by-elections. He mentioned that by visiting these regions, they could initiate direct contact with the locals, hear about their issues, and provide prompt resolutions. Preparations for the election should be enhanced by collaborating with the district’s local authorities.
During this event, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, the state president of BJP, also assessed the party’s readiness and motivated all the workers. He stated that the party is fully prepared for all 9 seats and will compete in the elections with full force under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Chaudhary has faith that the party will not just secure victory in the 9 announced seats, but will also soon claim the tenth seat for the BJP.
SP emerged victorious in the 2022 elections in Katehari, Karhal, Sisamau, and Kundarki constituencies. SP also had Milkipur seat in Ayodhya under its control. The date has not arrived yet. In addition to this, elections will take place for the seats of Phulpur, Majhawan, Ghaziabad Sadar, Khair, and Meerapur.
Let us tell you that out of the 10 seats on which by-elections are to be held, 5 were with SP and 5 with NDA alliance. BJP had 3 seats. One was with RLD and one was with Nishad Party. SP had won Katehari, Karhal, Sisamau, Kundarki seats in 2022. Milkipur seat of Ayodhya was also in the account of SP. The date for which has not come yet.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Surya Pratap Shahi, along with many senior ministers of the state and BJP officials including the minister in charge were also present in the meeting.
