All the prominent campaigners have hurriedly traveled to Haryana, where the last phase of campaigning is underway. Tej Pratap Yadav has arrived from Bihar to campaign for his brother-in-law Chiranjeev Rao in Rewari.

Chiranjeev Rao, who is contesting as a candidate for the Congress party in Rewari, is married to the daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Rao, who is married to Lalu’s daughter Anushka, has the backing of his brothers-in-law, Tej Pratap and ex-Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.

Tej Pratap has already contacted Rao in Rewari before the election showdown in Haryana. Reports suggest that Tejashwi Yadav will also be joining his brother-in-law in the constituency for campaigning.

Chiranjeev Rao, the son of experienced Congress politician and ex-Haryana Minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav.

Before the big election fight, Lalu Prasad Yadav recommended to his son-in-law that he should remain constantly in touch with the local community. I am running for Congress in this area, but I always receive blessings from Laluji. His family has strong connections within the community. Chiranjeev Rao said that he always has the blessings of Laluji, who is a leader with a large following.

After I was given the ticket, he (Lalu Prasad Yadav) talked to me and recommended that I always maintain a connection with the grassroots. For three generations, my family has been dedicated to serving the people of Rewari, and I plan to uphold that legacy. He added that he is sure the people will provide him with an opportunity.

Speaking about his brothers-in-law’s support, he mentioned, “Tej Pratap arrived, and Tejashwi Yadav will also come soon…”
