Hemant Soren was surprised when his supporter Mandal Murmu switched to BJP, known for vehicle inspection.

During the assembly election campaign in Jharkhand, BJP has dealt a major blow to the ruling party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. On Sunday, Mandal Murmu, who is related to the martyr Sido-Kanhu and supports Hemant Soren, switched to the BJP. Sido-Kanhu were the leaders of the Hul rebellion against the British in 1855. Mandal Murmu became a member of the BJP with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Laxmikant Vajpayee, Nishikant Dubey and BJP candidates from Santhal present.

Mandal Murmu’s decision to join the BJP is seen as a major blow to CM Hemant Soren. There is also a concern that the proposer’s abandonment during the JMM election campaign could convey a negative message to the public. Mandal Murmu had been dominating the political scene in Jharkhand for the past few days. Meanwhile, Nishikant Dubey, a BJP leader, also met with him.

Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, submitted his nomination for the Barhet assembly seat. Following the nomination submission, Mandal Murmu, who proposed him, was halted in Dumri. The vehicle Mandal Murmu was inside was halted and examined. This situation changed when the announcement from the Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand was released.

The Chief Electoral Officer stated that the Election Commission’s guidelines were disregarded during the inspection at the checkpoint in Dumri, Giridih. There was also no video recording of the checking. Additionally, he reiterated that individuals can only be arrested if incriminating items are discovered in their vehicle.

Following the Election Commission’s statement, the opposition party BJP seized the chance to attack the ruling party. Following this, Nishikant Dubey, a leader of BJP, visited him. Following Nishikant’s gathering, there was a surge in speculation surrounding Mandal Murmu in the market.

This time, the 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand will undergo voting in two phases. Voting will take place on November 13 for the first phase and on November 20 for the second phase, with the results being announced on November 23. In the state’s election showdown, NDA is facing off against the All India Alliance.
