Before the Maharashtra assembly elections, Uddhav Thackeray dealt a major blow to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde by welcoming back Shiv Sena’s Shinde faction’s deputy leader, former MLA Babanrao Gholap. It’s the end. Once again on Sunday, she is here. Shivsena has aligned with the Thackeray group. Party leader Uddhav Thackeray and the younger generation were in attendance alongside Sena chief Aditya Thackeray. Thackeray created Shiv Bandhan and embraced him into the group, forming Shiv Sena.
Babanrao Gholap left the Shiv Sena Thackeray group and switched to the Shinde group during the Lok Sabha elections. However, Yogesh Gholap, the son of Babanrao Gholap, received the nomination from the Shiv Sena Thackeray faction in the Deolali legislative assembly constituency.
Once more, upon the announcement of the candidate, Babanrao Gholap promptly returned home. While Babanrao Gholap aligned with the Shiv Sena Shinde group, Yogesh Gholap supported the Shiv Sena Thackeray faction. Babanrao Gholap has once again joined the Shiv Sena Thackeray faction as a candidate after being declared by them.
In contrast, NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party has revealed Fahad Ahmed as the candidate from Anushakti Nagar. Sharad Pawar’s party’s local officials are upset about Fahad Ahmed’s ticket allocation.
Nilesh Bhosale, a community leader in Anashaktinagar aligned with Sharad Pawar, stated that he will determine the next steps after consulting with the workers. In the meantime, Nilesh Bhosale stated that we should not have shied away from this as our wives are not heroines. Fahad Ahmed, nominated by Sharad Pawar faction in Anushaktinagar, is spouse of well-known actress Swara Bhaskar. Ahmed switched from the Samajwadi Party to Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party, the NCP, on Sunday.
Ahmed had previously become a member of the Samajwadi Party in 2022. Local leaders of the Sharad Pawar faction are upset by his candidacy.
He stated that all the candidates we had submitted should not have been turned down just because our spouses were not heroines. However, we are solely the primary employees. The foundation of the NCP party is made up of the regular workers. Nilesh Bhosale from the Sharad Pawar group mentioned that no decisions will be made until they communicate with all the workers who provide direction.
