BJP has revealed the lineup of prominent campaigners for the Maharashtra state elections. Narendra Modi is mentioned at the top of this list. BJP has unveiled a roster of 40 prominent campaigners. In addition to the BJP President JP Nadda, the star campaigners list also features Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, and Navneet Rana.
Included in the list of prominent campaigner for Nitin Gadkari are Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai, Central State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Haryana Naib Singh Saini, and Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The lineup of star campaigners includes Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Devendra Fadnavis, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Shiv Prakash, Bhupendra Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnav, Narayan Rane, Piyush Goyal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Rao Saheb Danve Patil, Ashok Chavan, Udayan Bhosale, Vinod Tawde, Ashish Shelar, Pankaja Munde, Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Radha Krishna Patil, Girish Mahajan, Ravindra Chavan, Smriti Irani, Praveen Derkar, Amar Sable, Muralidhar Mohol, Ashok Nete, Sanjay Kute, and Navneet Rana.
The BJP is a member of the Mahayuti coalition in the Maharashtra state elections. The coalition consists of BJP, NCP, and Shiv Sena. The first list of 99 candidates has also been released by BJP. Devendra Fadnavis, contesting from Nagpur South West, is also part of the mentioned list. BJP’s state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule is running for election from Kamathi assembly constituency.
There will be a single-phase election for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. Voting is scheduled for the Maharashtra assembly elections on 20th November. The vote tallying will occur on November 23rd. The Maharashtra Mahayuti coalition is in competition with the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance. The Mahavikas Aghadi comprises of the Congress, NCP (led by Sharad Pawar), and Shiv Sena (under Uddhav Thackeray’s leadership).
