Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, former Kaiserganj MP and BJP leader, arrived in Ayodhya for Diwali and spoke highly of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He praised Yogi Adityanath for the Diwali program in Ayodhya organized by the Uttar Pradesh government, calling it a positive initiative by both the UP government and CM Yogi Adityanath. He mentioned that each day, this program is growing larger. It appears that in the future, individuals will visit Ayodhya solely to witness this event.

A parade of floats was held in Ayodhya on Wednesday before the big Deepotsav celebrations for Chhoti Deepawali. Classical dancers from all over the country enchanted the audience with their performances of Ramayana events through tableaux on Ram Path.

A representative from the UP government stated that the 18 special tableaux, which were transported from Saket Mahavidyalaya to Ram Katha Park, were the main highlight of the light festival. Different episodes from Ramcharitmanas were depicted live in these tableaux. Everyone was observed using their mobile phone cameras to capture the scenes of the tableaux. In this period, Rampath was covered in gulal and there were numerous fireworks as well.

The Uttar Pradesh government aims to set a record by illuminating over 28 lakh diyas along the Saryu River in Ayodhya for Chhoti Diwali. This Deepotsav event is the first one since the idol of Ramlala was consecrated in the temple in January this year. Authorities have confirmed the purchase of 28 lakh diyas from local artisans to ensure that even if 10 percent of them are damaged, the goal of lighting 25 lakh diyas can still be reached.
