The Bharatiya Janata Party revealed its nominees for the 9 seats up for by-elections on 24 October. The BJP has given up the Meerapur seat in Muzaffarnagar to its partner RLD. Ramveer Singh Thakur has been nominated to run for election from the Kundarki constituency. Ramveer had competed in this constituency in 2012 and 2017, but was unsuccessful in both attempts.

Sanjeev, the Metropolitan President of BJP in Ghaziabad, has been selected as the candidate for Ghaziabad Sadar. Surendra Diler, the son of ex-Hathras MP Rajveer Diler, has been nominated to run in the Khair reserved constituency of Aligarh. The OBC, upper caste, and Dalit categories each received four, three, and one tickets respectively from the BJP.

In the assembly by-election, Samajwadi Party announced three more candidates on October 24. Currently, in Uttar Pradesh, SP is not in partnership with Congress. Elections were conducted independently on all nine seats with mutual cooperation. SP will now compete on these nine seats, reaffirming their alliance with PDA. Raj Jatav is the candidate from Ghaziabad, while Charu Kain will represent Aligarh’s Khair seat. Charu is able to lead Congress as its leader. Had she run for office from that location, he would have received the nomination. He has joined SP and is now running as a candidate.

Meanwhile, SP has nominated Mohammad Rizwan as its candidate from Kundarki in Moradabad. This means there are four Muslims occupying nine seats. There are three candidates belonging to the OBC category. There are two individuals from the Dalit community. The announcement of the election date for the Milkipur seat is still pending. SP has already selected Ajit Prasad as its candidate. BSP has declared candidates for the eight assembly by-elections contested seats.

There is still an issue with the candidacy for the Khair seat of Aligarh. BSP Charu intended to offer a ticket to Ken from this place; however, after he became a Congressman, he achieved the outcome he wanted. Unable to locate a suitable applicant. Information from party insiders indicates that the decision on the candidate will be made on Friday. It is going to happen. The BSP has identified candidates for all eight seats based on the Social Engineering formulas.
