Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed sorrow over the demise of three individuals from Bihar in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, he also declared that the families of the victims of the terrorist attack would receive Rs 2 lakh each in financial aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
A letter has been released by the Chief Minister’s Office regarding this matter. CM Nitish Kumar instructed the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi to coordinate with the Jammu and Kashmir government and make necessary arrangements for repatriating the deceased to Bihar.
The Chief Minister’s Office issued a statement expressing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s heartfelt condolences for the three Bihar workers who died in a terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. This situation is very tragic and it has caused me immense sadness.
The Chief Minister has declared that two lakh rupees will be given to the closest family member of the three victims of the terrorist attack from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Furthermore, officials have been directed to offer additional benefits according to the regulations of programs operated by the Labor Resources Department and the Social Welfare Department.
Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar’s Deputy CM, also expressed his condemnation of the terrorist attack in Ganderbal. On platform X, he expressed his deep pain about the tragic deaths of Bihar’s laborers and civilians in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir.
We cannot accept such cowardly attacks in any situation. Individuals who endorse terrorism must understand that these cruel actions will never shatter the unity of India. I offer my sincere sympathies to the families of those who have passed away or been injured, and I pray to God for a peaceful resting place for the deceased in his loving embrace.
It should be noted that terrorists, on Sunday night, killed 7 individuals, including a doctor, in the Gagangir region of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir. Three workers from Bihar lost their lives in the terrorist attack, identified as Fahiman Nasir (safety manager), Mohammad Hanif, and Kaleem. Five workers were also wounded in this act of terrorism. Simultaneously, the NIA will also launch an inquiry into the terrorist attack in Ganderbal.
