The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an international organization that monitors money laundering and terrorism in financing, has now issued a warning stating that radical left-wing groups aim to topple the government. Notwithstanding the fact that these groups have achieved some degree of success in certain regions, thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong leadership, such an error is practically unheard of in India. All democratic forces worldwide, however, need to take this most recent FATF report seriously.

The 40-member FATF is an intergovernmental organization that was founded in 1989 with the goal of preventing illicit activity and preserving global society. It seeks to create the political will required to enact national legislation and regulations in these areas in its capacity as a policy-making organization. The FATF Standards will be implemented by more than 200 nations and jurisdictions as part of a concerted international effort to combat terrorism, organized crime, and corruption.

It goes beyond India alone. Even a stealthy strike on India would be dangerous for democracy, the world community, and food security. Therefore, the whole community needs to properly consider its most recent report, which was published on September 19, especially the 40 members including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, US, UK and so on.

The “Hurriyat case” is used as an example in the report, which granted the Modi government a perfect score for taking on money launderers and funders of terrorism.

However, left-wing intellectuals, urban naxals, and so-called liberals are frantically trying to restore the previous system. After reading this information, world leaders need to take heed and unite to stop the nefarious plot of radical left-wing parties that want to topple the government.
