Diwali was observed with grandeur at the Akshardham temple. There was a significant turnout of worshipers from both the local area and other countries at the event. Swami Swayamprakash Swami presided over a unique Hanuman ji worship ceremony on Chaturdashi, one day prior to Diwali.
The Swaminarayan Akshardham temple in Delhi witnessed a grand celebration for Diwali on Thursday. A considerable number of followers from both the nation and overseas attended the event. A unique worship of Hanuman ji was conducted on Chaturdashi, the day before Diwali, in the presence of Param Pujya Swayamprakash Swami (Doctor Swami). It is said that individuals worship Hanuman ji and Maa Kali on this day, seeking to eliminate negative vibes.
Under the guidance of Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj, a unique ceremony honoring Hanuman ji took place at Akshardham temple with the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa. Senior Sadguru Saint Pujya Doctor Swami, present at the event, encouraged all Hari bhakts to draw inspiration from Hanuman ji’s life.
During Diwali, Bahi Pujan took place from 10 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon. Many devotees of Hari attended the worship ceremony in the temple hall with their offerings. During this event, the saints invoked Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Lakshmi through the recitation of Vedic mantras, leading to a reverent atmosphere.
The festival of Deepawali and Annakoot was first celebrated in Akshardham temple, Delhi in 2005 with Pramukh Swami Maharaj in attendance. Since that time, it has been consistently motivating individuals by igniting the flame of spiritual attributes such as faith, dedication, wisdom, and disengagement within them.
During this event, the temple was adorned with a variety of flowers and hanging decorations, with a notable contribution from Haribhakts, particularly women and male volunteers. Its arrangements began roughly two weeks ago. The volunteers lit up the whole temple grounds with lamp light. All the devotees of Hari who took part in the celebration had a great time.
During this event, Pujya Doctor Swamiji gave his blessings to the people and expressed his wish for the Diwali festival to bring peace and prosperity into everyone’s lives.
