The Meteorological Department (IMD) reports a slight decrease in day temperature in Delhi. There is a forecast indicating the possibility of extreme cold in North India this year.

There has been a slight decrease in daytime temperatures in Delhi-NCR. In certain areas, the heat is still being felt. IMD reported on Thursday (October 24) that the highest temperature is 33 degrees and the lowest temperature is 35 degrees. There is a chance that the temperature could reach 19 degrees Celsius.

There is increasing activity of Cyclonic storm DANA in the Bay of Bengal. As a result of the cyclone, various states such as West Bengal and Bihar are experiencing weather fluctuations. Today, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain in West Bengal. There will be light rain in certain parts of Bihar.

Cyclone Dana emerges from the Bay of Bengal and is on its way to Uttar Pradesh. There is an estimation that heavy rain may occur in various areas of the state within the next two days. This will pose issues for individuals seeking respite from the heat. Weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh may result in light to heavy rainfall starting from October 24, as per the department’s report. Because of this, the temperature will fluctuate quickly, potentially leading to a rise in frigidity.

Today, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in South India. There will also be heavy downpours predicted in Jharkhand. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for these states. Some states in the North East region may also experience rainfall. The Meteorological Department has given a warning of heavy rains in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura through a yellow alert.

Significant rainfall is anticipated in Odisha and West Bengal. These states have also been put on red alert. The impact of cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ can be seen in numerous states. Many states have been put on alert by the Meteorological Department. Delhi-NCR has experienced a small decrease in the daytime temperature. Some locations continue to experience the effects of heat.
