Ayodhya witnessed a magnificent Deepotsav event on Wednesday evening. During this time, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath witnessed the creation of two Guinness World Records. Despite the presence of hundreds of people, Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad was conspicuously absent throughout the entire event. When concerns were brought up, Awadhesh Prasad showed his distress.
Awadhesh Prasad stated the cause of his absence at the Deepotsav and criticized the Yogi administration in Uttar Pradesh as well as the BJP. Awadhesh Prasad mentioned that he wasn’t invited to the Deepotsav. Entry into the Deepotsav was restricted to only those with cards.
Avdhesh Prasad stated that regarding being called, it is fine if I was not summoned. A few individuals were saying that I would have been the subject of conversation if they had contacted me. There are ongoing by-elections. Had I been talked about, I would have been marketed and my name would have been mentioned. I would have been the focus of media coverage. This could have reduced the conversation about the incident.
Awadhesh Prasad inquired whether the invitation from BJP was for a government event or a BJP event. Why would the BJP president be invited to a government event? If the event organizers had attended, it would have been significant. Awadhesh Prasad commented that this is the belief system of BJP, this is its mindset. Normally, people come together in unity to celebrate festivals. For many years, we have been commemorating festivals together through mutual cooperation. However, BJP has even made festivals political.
Awadhesh Prasad stated that the BJP aims to create division within both society and the nation. BJP intends to govern the nation following the principles of British rule and division. Despite being organized by the BJP, we still extend our congratulations to Deepotsav. I don’t have any thoughts on the matter. We extend a warm welcome and offer our congratulations to it. It’s unfortunate that the BJP is making our festivals into political issues. This action goes against the concept of embracing diversity within unity. This is what they believe and how they think. The country has conveyed during the Lok Sabha elections that their thoughts and beliefs are no longer relevant.
