Goa Congress has alleged that the state is involved in a cash-for-jobs scheme and has called for the state government to release a white paper on the matter. During a press conference at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday, Congress representatives Alok Sharma and Girish Chodankar strongly criticized the BJP government. They drew parallels between the Goa scam and the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
He mentioned that the Goa Staff Commission was established in 2019, appointments were conducted without considering it, and then multiple extensions were granted. This is a major hiring fraud similar to Vyapam. The CM holds responsibility for this. This situation involves payment for employment.
He requested that a white paper be published regarding such appointments from 2019 to the present, and a judicial investigation should be conducted by a High Court judge. He mentioned that inflation is at its highest point. Individuals are distressed by joblessness. The rupee is declining compared to the dollar. This government is both mute and blind. PM Modi cannot even address the issue of inflation in Maharashtra.

It is revised twice in 2023 and 2024, preventing the Act from being carried out. Changes were implemented in it to ensure that the individuals involved can be rescued.
He mentioned that in Goa, a concealment took place under the guise of investigation. An audio recording has emerged in which transactions are discussed. The woman has been taken into custody. Discussions are ongoing about dealings amounting to Rs 4 crores in it. He mentioned that Goa’s Vyapam has become known in the past month. Accusations have emerged regarding individuals from the Public Service Commission being in touch with BJP leaders.
He stated that the proper procedure has not been adhered to in any of the appointments made after 2019. The investigation revealed that the answer sheets were not tampered with.
