The date of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2024 (Tier-II) has been officially announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam has been scheduled for November 18, 2024.
Earlier this September, the SSC released the Tier-I results of the CHSL examination, indicating that over 41,000 candidates, out of thousands of applicants, were eligible for the Tier-II examination. These applicants will now fight for over 3,500 openings in various government departments for jobs including data entry operator (DEO), junior secretariat assistant (JSA), and lower division clerk (LDC).
The Staff Selection Commission has determined that November 18, 2024, will be the date of the Tier-II Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024.
Results for the SSC CHSL Tier-I exam were released on September 7, 2024, with the exam taking place from July 1 to July 11, 2024. There will be three parts with two modules each under the revised Tier-II test structure. Mathematical aptitude, reasoning, and general intelligence are covered in Section 1; general awareness, English language comprehension, and computer knowledge are covered in Section 2; and computer knowledge assessment and skill or typing test are required in Section 3.
There will be two phases to the SSC CGL Tier-II exam: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is required for every position. Applicants wishing to apply for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) position at the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation must submit Paper 2. Paper 1 will take 2 hours and 30 minutes, while Paper 2 will take 2 hours. Three sections, each with two modules, will make up the computer-based test structure used for this examination.
On the same day, there will be two phases for the Tier-II exam. Module 1 of Section 3, together with Sessions 1 and 2, will take place in the first session, while Module 2 of Section 3 will take place in the second. Candidates should be aware that for objective-type questions, there will be a one-mark deduction for each wrong response.
