The ED has taken Dr. Sandeep Ghosh’s statement in jail on 8, 9, 14, and 15 October. In addition to Sandeep Ghosh, the statements of two other jailed suspects have also been taken down. Both of the suspects have a strong connection to Sandeep Ghosh.

CBI will soon submit a chargesheet in the corruption case involving RG Kar Medical College. At the same time, the ED is conducting its own investigation into the case, focusing on the aspect of money laundering.

At the same time, CBI has doctors Debashish Som and Sujata Ghosh in their sights for their involvement in the RG Tax corruption case. It is claimed that both are actively participating in financial frauds. The Health Bhawan was asked by the CBI to take steps against both physicians. Health Bhawan has replied to the letter from the CBI. Swasthya Bhawan has requested information from the CBI on this matter. The state government’s affidavit in the Supreme Court has also brought up this matter.

Former RG Kar director Sandeep Ghosh has already been arrested in the RG Kar case, and Ashish Pandey has also been taken into custody by CBI. This time, two additional physicians are under the CBI’s scrutiny. The CBI has also notified Health Bhawan to take action against the two doctors. The letter implies that CBI can also act following its inquiry procedure.

It should be noted that prior to the lady doctor’s death, there were already concerns about Debashish Som’s presence in the seminar room. His name has repeatedly surfaced in connection with both the corruption case and the murder case of the lady doctor.

Additionally, the name of Sujata Ghosh has been mentioned. On September 30, during the Supreme Court hearing, the junior doctors’ attorney shared numerous facts. Rakesh Dwivedi, speaking on behalf of the opposing party, mentioned they would respond accordingly if the CBI includes them in the list. This time, the Health Building was contacted directly by the CBI. It has also been suggested that numerous other doctors’ names could emerge in the future.
