PM Modi said he will participate in a number of activities and hold a bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden during his three-day visit to the US that began on Saturday.

PM Modi highlighted his itinerary, stating that he will also speak at a community program in New York and attend the Summit of the Future, an occasion organized by the UN General Assembly.

PM Narendra Modi stated on social media on X, “I will be visiting the USA and participating in a number of initiatives there. I’m going to the Quad Summit that President Biden is hosting in Wilmington, Delaware. I’m excited to hear the discussions at the summit. Additionally, President Biden and I will meet one-on-one. I’ll be at the Summit of the Future in New York. In addition, I’ll be speaking at a city community program.”

Before leaving for his US visit, Prime Minister Modi made the following statement: “I am excited to attend the Quad Summit with my colleagues, President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese, and Prime Minister Kishida. The forum has become an important coalition of like-minded nations working to advance prosperity, peace, and development in the Indo-Pacific area.”

On September 21, US President Joe Biden will hold the sixth Quad Leaders’ Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, where PM Modi will participate.

Four nations are combined as Quad: Australia, Japan, India, and the United States. In 2025, India will host the Quad Leaders’ Summit. To talk on regional security and collaboration in the Indo-Pacific, PM Modi will be joined by US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
