Amjad Khan, a resident of Alampur in Bhind, was one of the numerous young people who worked at a factory in Gujarat. Several workers, among them Amjad, lost their lives in a chemical gas leak incident. The workers were involved in an accident while they were in the process of cleaning the chemical tank.
Gas leak accident has caused Amjad’s family to feel very sad. He married three years ago and recently welcomed a daughter into the world. Amjad’s brother Sharif Khan, who is younger, also has a job in Gujarat. This news comes as a major surprise to the family.
Siddharth Tiwari from Muria Saletra village in Bhander tehsil of Datia district also lost his life in the accident. He had been employed at the factory for a period of five years. Siddharth, the oldest of three siblings, was not married.
In addition to this, Ashish Gupta, who lived in Gangaura village in Shivpuri district, also lost his life in the same accident. Ashish had been employed in Kutch for seven years. Amjad Khan, who lived in Alampur of Bhind, also lost his life in the same crash. Amjad got married three years ago and welcomed his daughter into the world just a month back.
There was a major incident at the boat club close to Baijatal. Because the sewer chamber overflowed, dirty smelly water began to fill up Baijatal. Virendra Shakya, the head of the boat club, notified PHE, leading to the employees beginning the cleaning.
However, once the cleaning was done and work came to a halt, the sewer chamber exploded with a loud noise and the flow of contaminated water intensified. Boating was quickly halted for safety reasons. In the Jalvihar complex, there is a sewage treatment plant that purifies the water and transfers it to Baijatal. This plant receives sewage from Jaivilas Palace and nearby neighborhoods. Sewage chambers are constructed at this location in order to purify the water.
