Bulldozers will demolish the house of the prime suspect involved in the unrest that occurred during the Durga idol immersion in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, the Public Works Department (PWD) issued a demolition notice for Abdul Hameed’s house due to illegal construction, following his involvement in the Bahraich violence. Hameed and four others are currently in police custody.
The Uttar Pradesh police shot Sarfaraz and Mohammad Talib in the leg as they were reportedly attempting to escape to Nepal. They are currently receiving medical care.
Ram Gopal Mishra passed away following a confrontation between two groups at the Durga idol immersion ceremony in the area. Steps are currently being taken in this situation.
Prashant Kumar, the UP Director General of Police (DGP), stated that two out of the five individuals captured following the Bahraich violence sustained injuries in the operation, with the other three being apprehended. He further mentioned that the current situation is now being managed.

Following this event, the tension escalated further. Shots were fired from the building and then the throwing of stones began. The idol of Maa Durga was further damaged by the stone pelting, intensifying the situation. The whole region was on fire. The protesters caused a significant amount of chaos.
