In response to the Srinagar grenade attack, security forces have apprehended three associates of the terrorist group Lashkar on Friday. On Sunday, this grenade attack in Srinagar targeted the security forces. Twelve community members sustained injuries in this assault.

Police officer VK Birdi stated that the individuals taken into custody have been recognized as Osama Yasin Sheikh, Umar Fayaz Sheikh, and Afnan Mansoor Sheikh. All three live in the Ikhrajpora neighborhood of the city. Birdi stated that the grenade attack case has been resolved with the apprehension of the three terrorists. This assault was executed at the request of the terrorist leaders based in Pakistan, whose goal is to instigate chaos in the valley by any means and disturb peace in the area. A case has been filed against all three of these accused under UAPA.

Aiming at security personnel, terrorists launched grenades onto a flyover in the city’s weekly salvage market. The detonations occurred close to a security forces vehicle, wounding 12 local inhabitants in the assault.
