Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India, speaking at a rally in Loharu, Haryana, which is scheduled to host elections soon, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fortified the military. On Tuesday, he said that Omar Abdullah, the head of the National Conference, and Rahul Gandhi had plans to free all terrorists following the elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Modi ji has strengthened the armed forces. But Rahul Gandhi has allied with Omar Abdullah. What is their agenda? It is to release all the terrorists after elections, to start talks with Pakistan, and to lift the bans on terror organisations,” Amit Shah stated.

“While Rahul Gandhi and Hooda might wish to reinstate Article 370, the BJP stands firm that even the Pakistani-administered part of Kashmir belongs to India.” Amit Shah also addressed charges pertaining to Haryana at the event. He said that slogans hailing Pakistan were being heard in Haryana and attacked the Congress for supposedly supporting appeasement politics. “Congress is dragging Haryana into divisive politics,” Shah said.

Amit Shah further asked, “I want to ask Hooda Ji how many crops he bought during his term at MSP. He bought only 4 crops at MSP. But today we are buying 24 types of crops. It is the ten-year BJP rule in Haryana in which the highest amount of crops have been bought at MSP. I want to tell you today that not even a single grain of crops produced in Haryana will be left unsold.”

On October 5, Haryana will have a one-phase election. The results will be tabulated on October 8.
