A strong offensive against terrorism will commence shortly. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a significant announcement about this. He stated on Thursday that the government will soon introduce a national policy to combat terrorism. The Modi administration is dedicated to eliminating terrorism. It is progressing with a strong plan to eradicate it. Public safety and justice fall under state jurisdiction.

However, terrorism recognizes no borders. Consequently, all security agencies must collaborate effectively. A collaborative approach must be developed to eradicate terrorism, and intelligence information should be exchanged as well.

The Home Minister stated that a model strategy has been implemented by the government in the shape of ATS and STF for states and union territories. If put into action, it will function as a shared structure and system to address terrorism. We must collaborate to combat terrorism.

Amit Shah stated that according to PM Modi’s commitment to transform the nation into a developed one by 2047, all must address security challenges. A cohesive ecosystem needs to be developed to combat terrorism. The security forces must train new (young) recruits. In addition to this, technology must also be utilized.

He stated that ever since Narendra Modi took office as PM in 2014, the nation has been progressing with a robust approach to combat terrorism. We are dedicated to its eradication. The entire globe has embraced PM Modi’s stance of zero tolerance towards terrorism. A 70 percent decrease in terrorist incidents has occurred in comparison to earlier decades.

Amit Shah stated that the initiatives of both central and state governments have significantly reduced violence in Jammu and Kashmir, Naxal-affected regions, and North-Eastern states over the past decade. NIA acts under UAPA in cases of terrorism. Consequently, charge sheets have been submitted in 498 out of 632 cases recorded by NIA. In approximately 95 percent of instances, punishment has occurred.
