In the Budgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, a bus carrying three Border Security Force (BSF) troops went off a mountainous road and fell into a canyon on Friday, killing three of them and injuring thirty-two others, according to officials. Thirty-five BSF troops were on board the bus when it collided in the Central Kashmiri Brell Waterhail area while on election duty.
This happened just hours after six people were hurt and an Army soldier was murdered in the Kathua district. According to reports in the local media, their car skidded off the road and tumbled into a ravine on the Sukrala Mata Ashram route.
Meanwhile, a third alarming event on Friday saw three Border Security Force (BSF) trainees hurt in an accidental mortar bomb blast near Pokhran. On Friday, the event happened during a practice session, and the three were taken to a hospital. To determine the cause of the occurrence, BSF officials have launched an investigation.
