Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal recently celebrated the joyous arrival of their baby girl, marking a delightful expansion to their family on Monday.
The Bollywood realm is brimming with joy for actor Varun Dhawan as he embraces fatherhood with the birth of his daughter on Monday evening. His partner, celebrated fashion designer Natasha Dalal, delivered their daughter at a Mumbai-based hospital. This marks the couple’s first journey into parenthood with a baby girl.
The bundle of joy’s arrival was confirmed by Varun’s father, esteemed filmmaker David Dhawan, to the media as he departed from the hospital. Captured at the hospital entrance, Varun was seen sending off his father before heading back inside.
Shortly thereafter, the actor’s mother, Lalli Dhawan, and his sister-in-law, Janhvi Dhawan, were also seen exiting the hospital premises. The couple has yet to make an official social media announcement concerning their newborn daughter.
Expression of joy from fans
The actor’s fanbase has been effusive in their congratulations, extending warm wishes to the family. One fan exclaimed, “Laxmi aayi hain badhai hoo Varun,” celebrating the arrival of their daughter as a blessing. Others shared their joy with messages like, “Baby girl congratulations,” and “Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl.”
Earlier in the year, in February, Varun and Natasha revealed their expecting status with an endearing photo showcasing Varan kissing Natasha’s baby bump. The announcement was made with a caption stating, “We are pregnant, Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrenght.”
The couple was wed on January 24, 2021, in an intimate ceremony, keeping the guest list limited due to COVID-19 precautions.
What does the future hold for Varun Dhawan?
Varun Dhawan is set to appear in several exciting projects. He’s leading in the action-packed movie Baby John, with A Kaleeswaran at the helm and Atlee presenting in collaboration with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios.
Additionally, Varun will star opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Indian rendition of the Hollywood series Citadel, crafted by Indian filmmakers Raj and DK. This project is the local adaptation of the globally known series initially led by Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, with its Indian release eagerly anticipated.
Another project in Varun’s lineup is the film directed and written by Shashank Khaitan, Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari. It showcases a stellar cast including Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles, with support from Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
Under the production wing of Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the movie is earmarked for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
