Salman Khan is currently on the mend following a rib injury he incurred while filming his upcoming movie, Sikandar. The actor revealed his condition to journalists at a recent Bigg Boss event, stating that his injury was more severe than he initially thought, confirming that he suffered two broken ribs.

The news of his injury follows recent appearances where Salman was visibly in discomfort, particularly at an event for children where he was seen repeatedly holding his side and having difficulty moving. Despite the pain, Salman chose not to cancel his commitments.

He demonstrated his professionalism once again during a photoshoot for the new season of the television show Bigg Boss. It was here, on Thursday, that he informed the assembled journalists about his broken ribs.

In a video released online, Salman is seen carefully making his way to his vanity van amidst a crowd of photographers, where he advised them to keep a distance, mentioning, “Aaram se, do pasliyan tooti hain (Be careful, I have two broken ribs).”

Following the video’s release, Salman’s fans flooded social media with messages wishing him a speedy recovery. Comments varied from “Get well soon Salman Bhai” and “Always the Bhai” to concerns about his well-being and urges for him to prioritize his health.

A close source to the actor confirmed the injury to ANI but reassured that Salman is well and that the filming for Sikandar is continuing on schedule, with no delays.

Sikandar, Salman Khan’s highly anticipated project, is set to be released on Eid next year. The movie, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is awaited eagerly as a notable entry in Salman’s varied filmography.
