During a thorough assessment of the district’s ongoing National Highways Authority of India projects on Friday, Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal stressed the importance of acquiring the remaining land and distributing awards to landowners as soon as possible.
In a meeting with district officials, Jorwal assessed all of the highway projects in progress, such as Ludhiana-Roopnagar, Delhi-Katra, Ludhiana-Bathinda, and more. The officials in attendance included ADC Jagraon Poonam Singh, Deepak Bhatia, Rajnish Arora, Beant Singh Sidhu, DRO Ankita Aggarwal, NHAI project directors Priyanka Meena, Parshant Mahajan, and others. He gave them instructions to quicken the projects’ pace in order to finish them on schedule.
Together with encouraging a proactive attitude to problem-solving in collaboration with the landowners, the Deputy Commissioner also gave the officials instructions to locate and eliminate any obstacles that might stand in the way of their work. In order to enable the flawless implementation of major infrastructural projects, he also emphasized the significance of seamless departmental collaboration.
According to Jorwal, the district government is dedicated to ensuring that undeveloped property for highway construction is peacefully possessed and that the work is finished as quickly as feasible.
