The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is scheduled to conduct the State Service Preliminary Examination for 2024 on June 23rd, a Sunday. This is amidst rumours circulating about the exam paper being leaked. However, MPPSC has dismissed these rumours as unfounded and confirmed that the exam would proceed as planned on the set date and time.
A rumoured general studies question paper is reportedly circulated on the Telegram social media platform for Rs 2500, alleging it to be the upcoming state service exam paper set for Sunday. This led to several news outlets suggesting a potential leak of the MPPSC exam papers.
In response to the allegations and the resultant news stories, MPPSC released a statement asserting that the news being spread about the leak is unfounded and misleading, cautioning people not to heed such news that questions the integrity and confidentiality of the exam. The commission reassured that the exam will be conducted on its fixed schedule, adhering to all the prescribed guidelines.
The MPPSC plans to hold the State Service and State Forest Service Preliminary Examination-2024 on the aforementioned Sunday, with two sessions scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 02:15 pm to 04:15 pm. The exam will be held across all 55 districts in the state, with about 2 lakh candidates expected to appear, including approximately 33,000 in Indore and about 16,600 in Bhopal.
