Two students were killed in an accident in Delhi on Monday morning when a vehicle collided with the bike they were riding, police confirmed on Tuesday. At approximately 8.30 a.m., an accident happened on the Khajuri-Timarpur road near Signature Bridge.

The authorities named the victims as Bakhtiyar and Abdullah, who were studying medicine at Jamia Hamdard University. According to authorities, the bike collided with the bridge’s divider at great speed, injuring both kids severely. They were transported to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, but physicians pronounced them dead.

A case has been filed against an unnamed person under sections 281 (rash speeding) and 106(1) (causing death by irresponsibility) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. They are checking CCTV camera footage from the vicinity to identify the vehicle that collided with the cyclist.
