Three classmates, ages 14, 15, and 16, fled their homes on Tuesday, terrified of being chastised by their parents for failing to pass their Class 10 exams. They were discovered two days later at the Meerut City train station in Uttar Pradesh by the Delhi Police Crime Branch’s Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU).
All three Tagore Senior Secondary School pupils in Delhi’s Mayapuri were reported missing from their houses in Inder Puri and West Sagarpur on Friday, according to police. The AHTU crew discovered the boys on Thursday at Meerut City station, aboard a train traveling from Amritsar to Mumbai. They were found two days later at the Meerut City rail station in Uttar Pradesh.
Vikram Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), stated that the three boys attend the same school and class. They failed various classes and fled home jointly because they were afraid of getting chastised by their parents. They’ve been reunited with their families, he said.
