Several schools in Delhi, including DPS RK Puram, received bomb threats via email on Saturday, prompting a multi-agency check of their premises, police said.

Teams from the fire and police departments, as well as dog teams, hurried to the schools to conduct thorough inspections. Police found the threats to be “hoaxes” after conducting an investigation.

The fresh threats come after at least 16 schools received similar e-mails on December 13. According to investigators, the emails warned of probable explosions on December 13 and 14, and were sent by a dark web group.

Earlier on Friday, December 13, at least 16 schools in the nation’s capital received bomb threats via email, prompting a multi-agency search of their facilities. According to the authorities, no suspicious items were discovered in any of the schools following the searches.

Before this, at least 44 schools received similar emails on December 9. Police declared the threats to be fake. On December 13, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal replied to the series of bomb threats to Delhi schools, asking how the threats would harm students.

” That is the second time this week that Mumbai schools have faced bomb threats, which seems quite serious but concerning. What will happen to the children if this continues? What will occur to their studies? Kejriwal stated this in a December 13 post on X.
