A mangled body of an HIV-positive man was discovered near the Palam Vihar railway station in Delhi. According to the authorities, the body contained many knife wounds, and the 25-year-old’s private parts were also severed.

On November 27, police discovered the unnamed victim’s body in a poorly decomposed state after a bystander noticed the remains and reported it to authorities. The man’s phone was also discovered nearby.

Due to a missing notice filed at Dwarka’s Sector 23 law enforcement station on November 25, the man had served as a manager for an e-commerce firm.

During the inquiry, Delhi Police discovered that the victim had been hit on the head with a big stone or brick, and CCTV footage from the area where the body was discovered showed the man walking towards the Palam Vihar Railway Yard, followed by two persons. Police questioned the two males but were unable to tie them to the victim or the crime.

Meanwhile, discussions on his phone indicated that the victim was not only married and HIV positive, but also having an affair with another man. The authorities are currently investigating whether the victim’s homosexuality or sickness played a factor in his murder.
