New Delhi: CCTV footage has surfaced showing the recent firing of members of the Bambiha Gang, the rival gang of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, at the property of a businessman in Delhi. In the video, two bike-riding males are seen standing outside the businessman’s home. A few seconds later, one of the men tossed a chit inside the house that read ‘Bambiha Gang’ on it. The accused then fired fire on the residence eight times, until the video cut off.

The shooter also recorded a video of the shooting, which was later forwarded to the United States, officials added. The incident occurred on October 26 at around 8.40 p.m. in Rani Bagh, North West Delhi. According to the police, the shooters, Bilal Ansari (22) and Shuheb (21), carried out the firing to extort ₹ 15 crores from the businessman.

On the intervening nights of October 28 and 29, the Delhi police Special Cell was warned that the shooters were planning to meet with their colleagues in the Kakrola district of the national capital. Following this, around 2:15 a.m., the police set up a stakeout along the Kakrola drainage route leading to Najafgarh, according to news agency PTI.

When the shooters arrived on a bike, the police directed them to stop. However, they attempted a U-turn but slipped and collapsed. While the cops encircled them, one of the shooters pulled out a weapon and fired at the officials. Following that, the team fired in self-defense, and one of the accused reportedly suffered a bullet wound to his leg. Both shooters were arrested. The police also discovered a semi-automatic pistol, a single-shot firearm, and six live cartridges from them.
